Hey guys,

I want to see how everyone feels about a small membership fee. Im thinking something like $10 for a few added site perks (search options, more message and pic storage, that kind of thing). The money would be used to help cover the cost of the domain name and hosting, as well as hopefully put together a few free members events where we could cover the cost of food/beverage/etc. Once some funds are established we could also see about joining some larger organizations like glfwda as a group and that kind of thing as well.

Im open to any and all feedback you guys have on this. Thanks in advance!

I really think joining the GLFWDA would be a great idea, I had mentioned it before but was quickly shut down.

Yea, its mainly a financial issue for that kind of stuff. That and having the time to actually participate with it all. I think if we can get things set up good, we should be able to do those kinds of things.

It's an organization that basically helps the sport a ton. They help to protect trails, keep things open, and a bunch of other good things.

Paid subscriptions are now available for those interested. I will post something soon displaying all of the perks of a paid subscription. The cost will be $10. To sign up for a new subscription, click on the "Settings" link at the upper right most corner. Then, in the "My Settings" section, under "My Account", click on the "Paid Subscriptions" link. You can then select a one year subscription and can send the funds via paypal. Or, click the following link: Paid Subscriptions (http://www.swmjeepers.com/forums/payments.php).

Those that donated for the forum software have already been set up with a one year subscription effective 1/1/2010.
