I need a drivers side d.30 axle shaft ASAP. I broke mine today pulling my boss out in a muddy forest.

I think I found one, I'm just waiting to here back about meeting the guy. I can't find one anywhere at part stores, which I think it's a pretty common part. Josh found one for his WJ with Varilock axles in stock.

Wjs are easier to find because the Cv joint is not replaceable or serviceable. So basically changing a axle shaft in a Wj would be like changing your ujoint. Thats why they keep Wjs shafts in stock more. Also wjs are wider than all the other d30s if i remember right.
Call jcr? I bet they have some laying around.

I know they aren't the same size, I just figured a TJ D30 shaft would be more common then a WJ shaft. I was proven wrong though.
I wish I could just finish that stupid D44, I don't think my bearings are going to last much longer and the pinion seal is leaking again.

bite the bullet and finish it, you can always sell the 30 afterwards and get a little money back

Bent housing and lots of play in the pinion, at least the shafts and locker are good:
