Thanks low ranger. I was wondering about the lift and the centering of the axles - but after seeing how many people have this size lift with the same set ups - I ruled it out.

Chadsmeltzer - I will have to pull the sheet to check the angle - it could be, but I would have thought that the tires would show some uneven wear. In my experence with a couple of lifted trucks that I have owned with wide tires the steering stabilzer helped alot on the street when the roads are older being rutted and worn uneven since the tires would want to stray in and out of the grooves. They also hleped on larger bumps off road - but not much difference otherwise.

I am not saying a stabilizer won't help, especially on bad roads and wide tires. Most people think they are a cure all when really they are just masking the problem, in most cases.
Caster won't cause tire wear, it is more of a driveability thing. More caster will help track down the road better, when when you lift a Jeep the caster angle is reduced. Caster is similar to the pinion angle, they are both changed with rotation of the axle.
04 TJ - Locked Front D30. Rear 8.8 with LS. About 4.5" lift. 35x12.5x15 MTR w/Kevlar. JCR PreRunner bumper with Superwinch EPi9.0 with synthetic rope. High Clearance skidplate. A.D.D. behind the wheel, so watch out.
if you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electrical problem
